Acceptable use
Acceptable use
What you can do with Client Ledger, and the few uses we turn down.
The intended use
Keeping and organising the exchanges of your own client projects, within a professional relationship where the people involved know you are documenting the work.
The uses we turn down
Monitoring people, building profiles outside a project relationship, impersonating somebody, bypassing an access control, or importing sensitive data without a lawful basis.
- No monitoring of employees or contractors
- No content obtained without permission
- No automated decision taken about a person from our analyses
Meeting recordings
The rules on recording vary from country to country and are often stricter than people assume. Getting the necessary agreement is on you. The service imports existing transcripts and never records a meeting itself.
If something goes wrong
We write to you first and give you time to put it right, unless the situation presents an immediate risk. Failing that, the workspace is suspended then terminated, with the chance to export your data before it closes.
